BLISS WAS ANYTHING BUT "BLISSFUL"

DEFINATELY MEMORABLE BUT FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS..ALTHOUGH WE HAD A RESERVATION, WE WAITED 20 MIN TO BE SEATED AT OUR TABLE..HAD TO STAND IN A VERY CROWDED AND NOISY BAR...WE WAITED A TOTAL OF 2 HOURS FOR OUR DINNER TO BE SERVED..IT WAS WARM BUT TASTY..THE OWNER DID SEND OVER A COMPLIMENTARY APPITIZER WHILE WE WAITED..AND AFTER WE LET HIM KNOW HOW UNHAPPY WE WERE, THERE WAS NO CHECK..STILL NOT WORTH WASTING OUR TIME AND THE AGGRAVATION..NEVER AGAIN.

Bliss or Miss

My son and his girlfriend went to Bliss for Valentine's day. He was shocked to be charged $185 for a dinner than was "inedible"--they literally could not eat it--they did not ask for the left overs as there was no point. They stopped at Wendy's on the way home. Kids don't complain; I would have raised holy hell!! Congratulations for stealing $185 from two college students!!

OVERRATED!

My husband and I recently had dinner at Bliss and our food was lousy! We first had an appetizer of lump crab cakes. When our appetizer arrived there were two tiny crab cakes w/some sauce on the side. For $15.00 the portion size could have been more generous. We then ordered our entrees. My husband ordered the marinated skirt steak and I had the sweet potato gnocchi w/sausage. My husband ordered his steak medium and it was served to him well done. The side of sauteed spinach was tasteless, but would have been good if it was sauteed in garlic w/a bit of olive oil. The only good thing on his plate were the fried onion rings. My sweet potato gnocchi lacked any type of sweet potato flavor. It was supposed to be cooked in a sage butter sauce and I didn't taste a hint of sage. Needless to say, I should of listened to the waitresses recommendation when she told me it was bland! We thought it was overpriced and overrated. We will never again eat at Bliss.

Great Overall - Owner, service, bartender, busboy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The negative review recently posted has been posted on other sites as well - obviously this person is either an owner or an employee of another restaurant and is jealous of the hype and how busy bliss has gotten over the past year and wishes they worked or owned bliss......
Maybe they can learn something from the way that this restaurant is run.

The worst dining experience Ive ever encountered. I could make a better meal with my hands cut off and the service was to say the least embarassing to the owner who by the way seems like he has no clue how to run a restaurant. Maybe he should try his luck at a deli to get some eeperience with dealing with customers.
